We recently delivered 50 bags of firewood to DNT Sinnerdammen with DNT volunteers. This was a job where having several people helped.

Once the snow has melted, helicopters are often the only option for bringing larger quantities of firewood and equipment to cabins without roads. Helicopter transport is efficient, but also expensive and less gentle on nature.
That is why we want to show that good alternatives exist. With people, planning and suitable methods, a great deal can be transported manually in a more nature-friendly way.
