Bags, boxes and provisions can often be split into efficient carrying loads. For larger quantities, we assess whether a sled, cart, boat or another method should cover the main stage.
Typical requirements

Evenly sized, sturdy items are easier to share between people and equipment. We agree on bag sizes, quantities, collection points and rain protection before the transport day.
Where roads, water or snow can be used along part of the route, we can combine methods and reduce the carrying distance.

ResupplyNorway delivered 50 bags of firewood to DNT Sinnerdammen alongside volunteers. Up to three bags were carried per trip.
Large volumes over open routes may suit motorised transport better. We therefore assess the quantity, distance and available crew before recommending a solution.
