We at Resupply Norway recently helped move three pallets of building materials and a kitchen to a cabin at Møsvatn as an alternative to helicopter transport. Instead of a helicopter, a more cost-effective combination of boat, barge and carrying was used.

Transporting materials at Møsvatn

The materials were first transported across the water by barge. From there, we carried and moved the equipment up to the cabin. This brought the materials all the way there without a helicopter.

For cabin owners and those working in remote areas, helicopters can be expensive, particularly where other practical options exist. In this case, the customer saved considerable money by using us for transport instead.

At ResupplyNorway, we work with freight and logistics in places where ordinary transport methods do not always suffice. We can help deliver building materials, firewood, provisions, equipment and other supplies to cabins, summer farms and remote locations.

Our aim is to find smart solutions that are practical, cheaper and gentler on nature than unnecessary motorised transport.
