Typical requirements

Long materials, heavy individual items and many small goods require different solutions. We need a packing list, dimensions and weights before proposing personnel and equipment. Splitting loads or delivering them in the right order often makes the work easier.
We can arrange collection directly from a builders’ merchant or meet the supplier at the transfer point. For contractors, deliveries can be coordinated with staffing and progress at the cabin.

At Møsvatn, we transported three pallets of building materials and a kitchen using a boat, barge and manual handling. This combination can work very efficiently where water covers most of the journey and the carrying stage is shorter.
Large tonnages, very steep routes or tight deadlines may still favour a helicopter. We therefore compare the job with suitable alternatives before quoting.
