In September, we completed a job for a DNT cabin to deliver a complete solar power system, including heavy batteries, without a helicopter, snowmobile or ATV. This is an example of how our expertise and traditional methods can deliver results where conventional transport falls short.
The challenge: a heavy load to a remote DNT cabin
The job involved transporting three batteries weighing 74 kg each and solar panels over 2.5 kilometres to a DNT cabin. The terrain included a farm track and trail. For many, a helicopter or motorised vehicle would seem the only solution.
